They must be derived from kosher animals.

They need to be made, handled, and wrapped using kosher machinery.

Fermented Products

Lactic acid fermentation is the molecular form of fermentation that happens. Bacterial cultures transform glucose into lactic acid throughout this process, creating novel flavors. Foods like cheese, yogurt, kefir, pickles, sauerkraut, kimchi, miso, and tempeh all undergo this kind of fermentation.
Alcohol-based fermentation is another kind of fermentation in which yeast ferments sugar to produce alcohol. Here’s how beer and wine are manufactured.
Kombucha is a tea that goes through a unique kind of fermentation that is akin to that of vinegar. First, the yeast turns the sugar into alcohol, which is then fermented further into acetic acid.

Baked Products

The issur in this case is kneading or baking dairy bread dough. Therefore, bake mixes, or pre-doughs, are not technically covered by this halacha. Nonetheless, a firm stance against the certification of dairy bread mixtures has been taken by the main kashrus certification organizations. The rationale is that, even if it might not be illegal to manufacture a dairy bread mix, approving it will enable improper behavior because the product will be used to bake dairy bread, which is prohibited. Since bake mix manufacturers frequently want their dairy bread mixes verified, this presents a significant obstacle to certification.

What You Will Get?

A quality certification is appropriate for a quality product. Businesses who pay for Kosher certification don’t want distributors and customers to call them out on a product’s unsatisfactory certification. Any business that puts its all into its product wants to be certified Kosher to show that same level of commitment. Acceptability and marketability, two essential ideas, have been integrated into our Certification to encourage confidence.
